Special Features/Comments: Easy walk or mountain bike ride around the outer perimeter of the oxbow. Excellent for birdwatching. Connects with the Rio Inspire Trail, Inner Oxbow Trail, and is accessed by the 19-Hole Connector Trail. Be cautious of grazing cattle in portions of this trail. Please note that this trail may be inaccessible seasonally due to flooding from the Rio Grande in Spring/Summer.

kParking Instructions: Park at the Alamosa Disc Golf Course or the North River Pavilion parking lot. Parking for the network of Alamosa Trails is also available at the parking lot just North of the State Street bridge.
