Special Features/Comments: Founders Sports Park is a 101-acre park with a variety of active recreation facilities including 6 soccer fields, 8 baseball/softball fields, 4 sand volleyball courts, 2 half-court basketball courts, 1 bocce ball court, and 1 shuffle board court. The park also includes the Farmington Hills Ice Arena, a fishing pier, as well as Riley Skate Park.

The 70,000 square-foot Ice Arena contains two ice surfaces with a total seating capacity of 1,200 people. The arena offers concession facilities, locker rooms, lockers, meeting and party rooms as well as, administrative offices. The facility provides both recreational and competitive skating opportunities. Skaters enjoy our youth and adult hockey program, public skating, Learn-to-Skate and figure skating.

Riley Skate Park was designed by some of the best skate park designers in the country, Site Design Group and Grindline. The 29,000 square foot all-concrete park is the area's premier hotspot for skateboarders and in-line skaters. The unique design provides elements for skateboarders/in-line skaters of all skill levels.

Founders Fishing Pier is open to the public for catch and release fishing.

pDriving Directions: From I-275: Take the 8 Mile Road exit and head east on 8 Mile. The park will be on your left after you pass Halsted.

kParking Instructions: Free parking is available in front of the Ice Arena as well as in front of the Baseball diamonds.
