Special Features/Comments: Originally Anchorage's airfield, this 13 block long park is now used for a variety of community events, sports and festivals year-round. Memorials to the Pope, Martin Luther King Jr., the Victims for Justice Tree, Purple Heart, Aviation, E.G. Fenn, the POW/MIA Tree, Organ tissue donors, the CA Berg Tree & plaque, the R.O. Robertson tree, and the Veterans.
A bandstand, flag pole and rose garden.
There are parking spaces available all along 10th street on the park's South side.

Located between 9th & 10th Avenues and between A and P Streets for 13 blocks. Also easy access through local neighborhoods from Chester Creek trail or Coastal trail for bikes and pedestrians.
